Calling all Registrars/Specialist Registrars!

The Lymphoma Forum of Ireland (LFI) Registrar’s Prize will awarded for the best case presentation at the LFI annual meeting on 23/24 September 2011.

All interested parties are invited to submit a synopsis (max. 300 words) of a challenging case of lymphoma, from a diagnostic or management perspective, to Drs Hilary O’Leary (hilarym.oleary@hse.ie) and Deirdre O’Mahony (dromahony@stjames.ie) by Monday, 1 August 2011. All cases must have relevant histopathology, immunophenotyping and molecular analysis available to be chosen for presentation. Registrars submitting the best 6 abstracts will be contacted by email on or before Monday, 15 August 2011 to invite them to prepare their case for presentation at the LFI on Friday afternoon, 23 September 2011.  Powerpoint presentations of these 6 cases should be emailed to Drs O’Leary and O’Mahony for final review by Friday, 2 September 2011. Case presentations should not take longer than 8 minutes and should be presented jointly by a clinical and histopathology registrar from the relevant institution.  The best presenting pair will be awarded the LFI Registrar’s Prize.
